46 pupils and 3 teachers took part on a piloting day at Isoniittu School at Klaukkala, Finland. Children were excited to have something scientific from Heureka to experience. Four Activities were offered:

  1. Archimedes Experiment, where they measured volumes of several objects and understood why Archimedes yelled: Heureka!
  2. Money Laundering, where the pupils cleaned one cent coins and understood what acid and sour mixtures made to metal alloys
  3. Find the Mistakes and Lab Disasters, which gave the pupils a good idea of laboratory safety
The Activities worked well even as short 20-minutes versions for groups. All the teachers were anxious to test these and other 97 OTA Activities on their own classroom work.
