The OTA project – Online Teaching Advancement (OTA) – Science Through Art is in full swing.

The second partner meeting and first live one was organised by our partners from Finland – the Heureka Science Centre in Vaanta. It took place on 6 and 7 October 2021, when we and the host partner met in person with partners from the other three participating countries – from Slovenia there was National Gallery of Slovenia, Primary School Litija and Education Centre Geoss; from Italy, Cesie, and from Cyprus, INNOVADE.

The days of socialising were very full and left the impression that the meeting lasted much longer than 2 days. We explored the Heureka Science Centre, learned about their activities and got curious about their interactive exhibitions. We met interesting lecturers, explored the nearby Finnish forest and listened to a lecture on the latest approaches to teaching in the Finnish school system while enjoying local cuisine.

All this was happening in a productive meeting where we reviewed the activities already carried out, looked ahead and set clear guidelines for the continuation of the project.

Finland left a truly remarkable impression and we returned to our home country enriched with knowledge, new acquaintances and new goals.
