Natural sciences and art come together in Heureka’s Science on Art workshop day on 26.11

The Science on Art workshop day organized in Heureka offers five different workshops on Saturday, November 26. between 12:00 and 16:00. In the workshops, various phenomena of chemistry, physics and mathematics are studied with art point of view in a fun and insightful way.

During the day, visitors can participate in five different themed workshops, all of which introduce different scientific phenomena. The workshops are easy, inspiring and suitable for all ages.In the lobby of the Science Center, we will get to know a special case of geometry, the Möbius strip. A cut strip of paper is used to create a surface with only one side and one edge. At the Ideaverstas Jokeri venue we Throw dice and think about the probabilities of the sums of the lottery cubes. At Laboratory Ydin Mandarin worlds are drawn: everyone gets to draw their own planet and break it down into a map and learn the basics of geometry. In Laboratory Solu, water can spill when visitors can observe volume and measure mass using water, balls and containers with Archimedes experiment. At Laboratorio Hoksaamo, we make Sour art, that is, we paint a watercolor painting with blueberry juice or other food found in the kitchen, while learning about the acidity and chemical reactions of different substances.
